Watching games in person v. TV?

Featured Replies

Whar are your thoughts on watching games in person v. watching on TV? There is nothing like watching a big time college game in person if you havent done it, but the older I get, the more I like my couch and remote control. No crowd, no parking, no expense, etc. What do you guys think?

If the tickets are good then definitely in person but nose bleed tickets keep me on the couch. I can lay back on my lazy boy and relax and as soon as the late night game is over I can to bed, or at least watch a good movie and fall asleep on the couch.

I am yet to watch a college football game in person, but there is nothing better than watching high school football!

Went to the Bama/UK game. Had a great time. Even before kickoff.

Friend at church is going to Bama/Ole Miss and has an extra ticket, said I could have it and I'm thinking about going. Long drive, but the seat is in the endzone. I could trade it...son plays soccer at 9:30 that morning. Game on CBS and no traffic. I might stay at home.

Nothing like watching a game in Tuscaloosa.

I usually go to 1 Bama game a year, this year I am going to Knoxville and last year I went to the game at Vandy. Eventually I want to see a game at every SEC stadium.

With good seats there is nothing like a game in person. I do not like the real high seats, would really rather be at home in front of the HD TV.

I like watching the games at home more, but I love the atmosphere of being at the game.

Actually I prefer both. I mean if I had an opportunity to go and watch a high profile game I would but I still enjoy watching from the comforts of my home too.

If the tickets are good then I would rather be there in person. But if they are not then I would rather be at home where I can turn on the ac or the heat and dont have to worry about parking and all that stuff.

In person, for sure..I love watching college football live and in person, nothing beats it..

Been to alot of Kentucky football games home and away! My dad has had season tickets for 30 some years! I know back in 1984 we went to every game home and away! PRICELESS!
