When the QB passes balls behind and over the WR's head, it makes it pretty difficult to catch the ball. Not to mention, I didn't see a spiral (sp?) the entire game.

Your right. There was no running game. It's very difficult to win a game being one dimensional. But, it just seemed like nothing was being created. The long pass is not even going to be considered. If it's not with in 5 yards from the line, or a someone out of the backfield it's not a completion.

Spurrier owns UK.

Frustrating as heck, but that is the bottom line.

Great great opportunity to end that dominance, only to have our offense go down in ignomenious fashion.

There was nothing special about our special teams play today either.

The defense fought valiantly, producing four turnovers, and the offense could do nothing with it.

They were on the field far too long in the second half. Our offense had something like three, three and outs in a row or in four possessions.

Now this team is going to have to scramble to find six wins because our offense has not shown much improvement this year and throw in a gimpy Lyons....ouch.

Run blocking wasn't there but Hartline had all day to throw the ball and was high all day. A couple of them should have been pulled in but all-in-all he just wasn't on target. Cobb needs to be there for the rest of this season IMHO. Cobb isn't touching the ball nearly enough. If Hartline isn't going to get him the ball as a receiver he may as well be under center.

I couldn't believe UK didn't capitalize on SC turnovers in the first half. In the second half I thought UK's DB's were horrible.

UK's defense may be in the top 10 in the country. They just cant get any consistency on offense. They had very little running game today and almost no verticle passing game. Joker did a good job trying to compensate with the tunnel and slip screens but it wasnt enough. Cobb has to be more involved. I wouldnt be surprised to see Brooks/Joker to go ahead and make the move. At least, with Cobb at QB, there is always a threat!

UK's offense didn't execute today.

There definitely has to be a change a QB. If I see it at my house on my couch, Coach Brooks has to see it from the sidelines.

I might not call many games correct but this is one I got right.

Lyons has a torn MCL...not good.

This is a pinhole in the football balloon. It really starts to look like a rebuilding year.

Arkansas is a must.

Offensively, this team is too challenged. They have too few playmakers especially at WR. They have had some injuries on the o-line.

The defense is fine...they didn't fare too well on third down in second half but they were out there far too long.

They bailed the botched onsides kick to start the second half, which if they execute it it is an easy recovery.

You can now start to see where the loss of Pulley comes in. Hartline simply cant make things happen throwing the ball. add in WR's who are young young and young.

Today was an energy sapper...defense gets you four turnovers, and you only get 17 points.

The D was really only responsible for 10 points...

I guess the coaching staff has no confidence in Hartline throwing the ball further than 5 yards. I know, I don't.

Hartline is not very good. If Spurrier was coaching UK he would have pulled him. I'm not saying Rich is a bad coach but I know he see's what every Kentucky fan has seen. He isn't getting the job done.

Isn't this the same QB many of you said was doing a decent job last week?

UK had all kinds of chances.

As for the Spurrier curse... no such thing. Most of the time he has had a much better team and the other times (like this one) he has flat out coached us. JMO. hat btw is not meant as a slam on Brooks, just that Spurrier is a far better coach.

 

Hopefuly the Cats can regroup and get the Pigs next week but with the more injuries piling up I have my doubts.
