I agree, Boone's defense was in the backfield all night long, and when SK was able to get outside, they were bottled up by the Rebs. I think BC is by far the best 6A team in NKY, but I still find it hard to believe they were up 42 at the half.

The BC stands were shocked as well. We were very concerned about this game. Boone was coming off the Bye week and two weeks ago they had Cooper. With SK's playoff hopes on the line and the ability of Simpson, we were holding our breath and looking for a slug fest. Boone not only arose to the challenge, they showed me that they're hungry.

Boone looked scary good tonight, both offensively and defensively. They have exactly what SK lacks on the offensive side - a decent passing attack to compliment their strong running game and prevent defenses from overloading to stop the run (or make them pay for it when they do, as what occured tonight). SK's passing "attack" is painful to watch - poor blocking and when they do get decent blocking the QB holds on to the ball way too long.

 

The collision between Simpson-Alford is about as hard a hit as you'll see in a high school game. Glad both kids seem to be okay.

I am shocked by this score to be quite honest. I figured BC would win but by this margin?

SK lays an egg every year when they play on a day off school.. I'm not sure why but the past 3/4 years have been like that.

Simon is a hard team to figure but in the end it is business as usual for the Pioneers.

From what I have heard right now, Nate Alford has a couple pinched nerves in his neck/back, this possibly is going to put him out for the rest of the season.

They should have been unstoppable this season. They have been out coached and out played in every lose. It is time for a regime change at SK. Lets get a staff that plays to win not plays primarily by the class your in. The undeafted sophmores are sitting on the sidelines watching the upperclassmen let the defense destroy their backs.

SK has alot of sophmores playing right now and that's not the answer unless your playing for next year. I agree they couldn't do any worse than the upperclassmen their playing. SK needs to do a major shake up in the their coaching staff as well as their AD. They have as much talent as anyone in NKY right now. " With the exception on Highlands of course"

Sounds like the old train wreck. Simpson is strong and can make big hits. I would think he's a good candidate for defensive backfield in college if he would rather play on that side of the ball.

Man, the blinders are killing you.. The sophomores who are physically mature enough to play do so. The ones who need another year are sitting and waiting, a good freshman team doesn't equal a good varsity team the very next year.
