October 7, 200818 yr According to a league source, Houshmandzadeh’s name has come up quite frequently during conversation at Niners headquarters in recent weeks. Apparently, 49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz is enamored with Houshmandzadeh and may have learned some positive things about the receiver from a member of the Zampese family who Martz remains close to. October 7, 200818 yr I wonder if the tag will be in effect? The way it looks, I say blow the whole darn thing up, the Wr's aren't getting any younger.
October 7, 200818 yr I wonder if the tag will be in effect? The way it looks, I say blow the whole darn thing up, the Wr's aren't getting any younger. Going to be more and more guys looking to jump ship. Who are the players whose contracts are up with the Bengals?
October 7, 200818 yr Bye TJ. Bye Chad. Bye Perry. Bye Marvin. Bye Mike Brown (wishful thinking on this one).
October 7, 200818 yr See you later. I won't miss the whining after every missed catch, or call that doesn't go his way.

October 7, 200818 yr They'll give him a lot of money if he goes via free agency. They gave free agent corner Nate Clements $80 million recently.
October 7, 200818 yr See you later. I won't miss the whining after every missed catch, or call that doesn't go his way. I agree, but TJ has been a great WR for us. His numbers last year were insane and he's off to a pretty solid start this year, despite struggling in the 1st few games. TJ's whining does get a little old, but I'd rather have somebody's act be centered around wanting to win and being competitive than what Chad does.
October 7, 200818 yr Author Do you mean in trade or is he going to sign there as a FA in the offseason? The article says trade rumors. Maybe we can get Justin Smith back. :bunny:
October 7, 200818 yr Author PFT says it ain't so and suggests this could be the Bengals leaking rumors: LINK
October 7, 200818 yr If they can get Willis, I'm all for it. If not, who can they get that makes it worth it? You'd like to get something for TJ as opposed to watching him walk out next offseason and getting nothing.
October 7, 200818 yr I would take Willis in a hearbeat. I would take a 1st or 2nd and 3rd for next year.
