When we go down every year we always drive out to Cape Canaveral, they have several nest out there and its a good place to see them.

KCChiefs
Great pictures. I've seen a couple in a zoo that were injured and couldn't fly, and a couple near Cape Canveral in the wild. Pretty awesome.
MrsFairFan
That's awesome. I never see anything exciting like that. Unless at the zoo of course. Great that you got pictures.
big royal daddy
They are beautifull birds. I see several of them up and down the Ohio River on a regular basis and can see a couple of nests located on top of power transmission towers. Saw a couple of little heads in the top of one nest one time, with a parent sitting near by. Watched a young one trying to catch a duck swimming along the river bank one day also, duck kept diving under the water and finally got away. True blue (and gold)
I am adding a couple of pics that were taken of a pair of nesting eagles right before a winter storm last year. If I can resize some others, I will add photos of their eaglets.

KY Thorobred
Yes. Well out near Westchase. My sister was out walking her dogs and she heard him scream. She was right in front of my house and ran to get us. He sat there for another 10 minutes. When it started raining, he flew off. Nice Pics!!! Whats this rain that you speak of??? GrizzlyAdams
Great pictures. How upset would you have been if as soon as you tried to take the pictures it would have flown away?
