What calms you?

Featured Replies

We are finishing up a 1982 Yamaha vx500, turning it into an old school bobber, and I am getting ready to start work on a 1964 Honda 160 Dream. I am gonna make it a mid-scale chopper. As of now this is just a hobby, but my friend and I are in serious discussions about making it a business venture.

This Winter, I am going to tear down my '81 Kawasaki kz1000 and put a new shifter fork and Kevlar racing clutches in it.( it already has a 1379cc big bore kit) . My wife hasn't decided what to do with her bike. It's a little too tall for her. I don't know if we will slam it or just get her something else.

I lay down somewhere and listen to music.
:thumb: Same here, particularly the blues.

Fishing(or just being on the lake) or a good cross-word puzzle usually does it for me.. Sex works pretty good also...

Cold beer and women!!;)

When you are angry or upset what do you do that calms you down? I have been under alot of stress lately and Im wondering if any of you do something special to help calm you down?

My phone is being stupid or else I would text you up. I find a nice, calming place. I usually go to the river on the shore and just sit there, think, throw rocks in the water....Sounds dumb, but it's what I do everytime I'm stressed. When my phone works I'll hit ya up

Treestand, sunrise, weapon of choice (in season of course).

When I was between the ages of 12-15 (15 is when we moved to Memphis)....I used to walk on the beach in Washington State....It was wonderful. The early morning, before the sun would rise, I would walk out barefoot on the beach. Watching the sunrise with the smell of salt water in the air...the sound of the water splashing on the rocks, the cold air on my face...there was just nothing like it.
