Every knows I support Senator Obama. If John McCain wins I hope he can turn things around. I will support him as my president. I will never hope he fails because of what it would mean to this country.

It's things like that, that have caused this annomosity. Say what you want, Democrats have not been supportive of George Bush with the lone exception of the 1 day after 9-11. From day 1 they have rooted for his failure at every turn out of their smugness and love for Al Gore. They feel like they should preach to me about how inferior I am because I dare have faith in an all powerful being known as God or that I believe the second amendment was literally mint for me to keep all the guns I want in my house. They call me a racist and say that if Obama will loose it is only because America is racist, they support people like Michael Moore who HATES America. And if one person in there own party dares to disagree with them on every issue they seek to censure him because like a cancer someone might actually listen to his reason and change their ultra "PROGRESSIVE" reform agenda.

 

I am a bitter American for all the things democrats say to me on a daily basis about all that I love and all that I believe. The only compromise they believe in as a party is compromise where we give in to everything they want. They want to send all of our tax dollars over seas to help the poor in other countries while I watch children in my own neighborhood who live in some of the worst conditions imaginable. When it comes to oil and gasoline they are so arrogant in their belief of Global Warming (which many scientist argue in not man made) that they won't help gas prices because they believe this crisis will cause us to go green. Forget the fact that Al Gore has millions invested in these green technologies and profits from most every green product that is purchased.

 

So I'm just sick of it, I want them to have there chance so they can see that we have done a pretty good job, and I hope my leaders stand there ground and refuse to compromise at every corner just like they have done us!

Already there, have been for many years. At least since the mid 90's and probably before that.

Let me be clear too, I don't want America to fail. I love my country, but I'm sick of liberals preaching to me and telling me there way is the only way and that the only change and compromise that is acceptable change and compromise is a change to exactly what they want. And I know all to well that higher taxes in this damaged economy will only make things worse, just as I know that leaving Iraq now will only make things worse (if you notice to after Obama actually talked to our generals in charge for the first time a few months ago his entire timetable has disappeared from conversation).

 

I should also point out it is constant statements like "BUSH IS A NAZI" or "BUSH IS RETARDED" that have cause a lot of my bitterness.

They they they, who are these "they" people you are talking about? I could lump all Republicans in to one category and make them look bad too, but I do not do that because it would be just as wrong as what you are doing to Democrats.

I've read through some of this thread.

 

I supported George Bush in 2000. I was put out by Clinton's immoral activity.

 

When 9/11 happened I thought Bush did a great job of handling it. He did a good job of uniting this country and striking back. It's when the Iraq diversion/war occurred that Bush lost me. His arrogance and rush to create a second front was where the US seemed to loose the moral high ground with the world and many of our allies.

 

This is just my take and opinion. I have been far from wanting Bush to fail. Where he has failed I have felt he did so on his own mistakes and ego. Just my take. :thumb:

I'm watching Obama on tv right now and he is talking about using our tax dollars to train medical professionals and provide incentives for them to stay in poverty countries over seas. I wish he would use our money to get doctors in to the rural America I live in too. He has also promised over 50 billion dollars to the UN. It's time to put American's first, is that self centered? Maybe, but we have to help our own who are starving and in poverty before we worry about the problems of others.

I'm a rep. no questions ask and hope to heck Mccain wins. I just want someone to ask Obama a tough question just one... Ask him how he plans to do all these things he says he is. Don't ask what are you going to do? Ask How? I want someone to ask him about his relationships with all these radical groups. I just want the media to stop bowing at the knees of Obama. How about instead of trying to dig up dirt on Palin, when everything they have tried to push has fallen thru, lets ask the "great one" some real questions. Thats what I want.
