September 26, 200817 yr Think they thought his knee touched, or could be one of those dumb plays we've been seeing alot lately; where a ref see's something catch him off guard like a players helmet come off so he accidently blows his whistle. In high school or college football when the runners helmet comes off the play is dead immediately.

September 26, 200817 yr Well everything that could go wrong is going wrong. Ball goes through USC defender's hands and Oregon St's WR catches it for the TD with a few seconds left in the half. Depends on who you're cheering for. If you are a Beaver fan I think EVERYTHING IS GOING RIGHT!!!
September 26, 200817 yr Oregon State started out early in a very effective spread which USC couldn't slow down. The RB for Oregon State is doing a great job tonight on a lot of individual effort. I have said it once, I will say it again, a well executed spread is not easy to defend. It's the one way to wash out mismatches in talent.

September 26, 200817 yr Was talking to a friend/co-worker before leaving the office, and I couldn't recall who tonight's game was. He looked it up, and rolled his eyes. "No game there," he said. "You shouldn't sell the wild'n'wooly Pac 10 short so quickly," I retorted. Man, I sure am smart sometimes.
