RebelK - Your strength, fortitude and compassion have always been an inspiration. You've put up with an amazing number of trials--one on top of another. I don't know how you've done it.

Your mom has put up a hell of a fight over the past year. There was a reason for that; God kept her here a little while longer because she had a little more of his work to do. But now her task has been accomplished. It's time for her to rest.

I wish you all the best, as always. I'm here, as is RTS, if there's anything we can do...and even if there isn't. We both look up to you and Mr. RK so much!

Stay strong and keep the faith.

Amen!! Great post and comments here BF. The Rambler household prayers continue for this strong lady and the family.

RK, you know that you remain in our thought and prayers.

You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers RK. I faced a very similar situation with my dad several years ago and I definitely understand how tough it can be.

Prayers from our Family to yours RebelK. May God Bless you and ease your pain in this time of need.

No one could ask for better friends than you and RTS have become to both MrRk and me. You have always been there for me in so many situations and I don't know what I would do without you.

We have been told that Mom may have a few more days. Of course we all know that there is only one person who actually knows the day and time. So we will leave it to him and be grateful for time he has allowed us to have with this woman he gave to us to be our mother.

There are times during the day that I just don't know which way to turn. I want to be in Danville but I know that this could last for days and even weeks and I can't miss my work that long. My brothers and sister have told me that they will call me when they think the time is near so I can get to Danville quickly.

My mom doesn't know anything, or they think she doesn't, I would just lay a bet, knowing her as I do, that she's aware of everything and I sure hope I am wrong. My sister put the phone up to her ear yesterday and I had a long conversation with her. My sister said that there was no movement when I talked to her. Perhaps she didn't hear me but in my heart I will just always believe that she did.

I thank each of you for your thoughts and prayers, please continue.

Note - Cvillecat..........what a true blessing you are.

OH, RK, I have thought about you, your mom and the rest of your family a lot lately. My heart is truely breaking for you all. If you need to talk or anything, please just call. God be with you all.

RK, you never know what your mother is hearing, understanding or what. I know that your comment about "in your heart" that you thought that she was. I can certainly relate and for one just may go with your heart and those feelings. I know there have been alot of times when I would say that I had a feeling "in my heart" about a loved one, friend or whoever and only later I came to realize that the feeling I had was more than just a feeling. I believe that sometimes God speaks to us in a time of need by a "feeling" in out hearts. I guess what I am trying to say is............go with your heart.

May God Bless your dear mother, you and your family. As always, prayers will continue for you.

Lord, may your look down, comfort and bless this person that is in your hands now. We know that you have a plan for everyone and there are reasons for everything. Please be with RK and her famly Lord and comfort them through this time as only you can do.

We ask this in Jesus name.........Amen.

Wow RK...have to say tears came to my eyes as I read your post this morning. My continued prayers with you and your family.

Prayers and thoughts to you and your family.

As most of you know, my mother has been really sick for quite a while now. As a matter of fact it will be a year tomorrow. At that time they told us that she only had 2 hours, 2 days or 2 weeks to live. Well my mother is the type of lady that she'll do what she wants to do and not what anyone tells her to do, so she decided that those time frames didn't look to good to her, so she made her own.:D

Last night my siblings pulled everything away from Mom at the advice of her doctors. The only thing they are letting her have is something for her pain. They are telling us that she doesn't know anything and that it will not be long until her death. At the request of her family, her pastor spent a long time with her, just him and her and I know that was a time well spent.

Our family believes....no we know...that it will be in God's time and no one other than him can know when he will welcome her home.

This has been the most difficult year of my life and this is the hardest morning that I have ever had. We have always known that she wouldn't live much longer but today we know that the time is near and it truly breaks my heart.

Please pray that she will shut her eyes, dream a beautiful dream and when she wakes up she will be in heaven with our Heavenly Father.

I really hate to hear this. You have our prayers.

What a lovely lovely prayer...thank you so much for it and for so many other times that you have helped me.

I talked to my sister today and she said that when she was with her early this morning there wasn't any change any which way.

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers....they truly do mean so much to me.

RK, you have been there many times for myself and plenty of others on here. That is why we call BGP a family. I only wish that I could do more.

RK, I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner, I'm so very sorry to hear your mom has taken a turn for the worse. You know that I'm always here for you as is BF. You just give me a call anytime you feel the need to talk, my friend. I continue to keep your mother, you and Mr. RK and your entire family in my prayers. May the Good Lord bless all of you.

Almighty and Everlasting God, preserver of souls, who dost correct those whom Thou dost love, and for their betterment dost tenderly chastise those whom Thou dost receive, we call upon Thee, O Lord, to grant Thy healing, that the soul of Thy servant, at the hour of its departure from the body, may by the hands of Thy holy Angels be presented without spot unto Thee. Amen.

Grant us,

Lord Jesus,

always to follow the example of Your holy family,

that at the hour of our death

Your glorious Virgin Mother

with blessed Joseph

may come to meet us,

and so we may deserve to be received by You

into Your everlasting dwelling-place.

Amen.

My prayers are with your Mom, you, and your family. God Bless, and I pray the Lord blesses all of you.
