My prayers for you and your mom, RK. May God bless her and your entire family.

My sister called me yesterday morning and told me that they were being told that Mom probably wouldn't live through the night. So MrRk and I got packed and made a fast trip to Danville. Yesterday her vital signs were as low as low could get and when we walked in her signs all got better. Today her signs were pretty good but there is no response from her at all. I just don't see how she can live much longer but that decision isn't in our hands.

My brothers and sister seem to think that she's holding on for something. So I thought and thought last night, since there was no sleep, and today I did what I never wanted to do. I walked into the nursing home and I asked to have time alone with my Mom. I talked to my Mom for a long long time and I thanked her for everything she had ever done for me. I discussed God and heaven and I told her that it was o-kay to shut her eyes and go home to God. That was the hardest thing I've ever done. To tell you Mother that it's o-kay to die just isn't a natural thing to do.

They told us not to cry when we talked to her but that went out the window when I was talkng to her. I got no reaction from her at anytime when I was talking to her but when I told her that it was o-kay if she wanted to go home to God and that it was time to shut her eyes, she shut her eyes and went to sleep. So I know she was hearing me and I am so grateful that she did. I left her after my talk with her and came home.

So for whatever reason, God isn't ready for my Mom just yet. But I can tell you this, when he does bring her home to him he will be getting quite a wonderful jewel.

^ Wow :cry:, All that I can say is God Bless you RebelK. You are one fine person. May God be with your Mother and your family.

:cry:Both my parents had to do that for their parents...I don't ever want to have to tell my parents that it is ok to go....I am so sorry that you are going through this.

My prayers are with you, RebelK!

 RK, that is so heartbreaking I don't know what to say. I'm here if you need someone to talk to. May God bless all of you in this trying time. You always have me, BF and the rest of your BGP family, you just call on us when you need to. God love ya.

RebelK, you & your mom have been on my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
