September 20, 200818 yr Knowshon Moreno Chris Wells CJ Spiller Noel Devine Lasean McCoy No particular order. As someone alluded to, McKnight when he starts seeing more rushing attempts will be a beast for sure. Running behind that USC O-Line isn't that bad either.
September 20, 200818 yr There are a lot of really good running backs that noone has ever heard of. A possible list: Robert Griffin, Baylor Rodney Stewart, Colorado Jeremiah Johnson, Oregon Evan Royster, Penn St. Darrell Scott, Maryland P.J. Hill, Wisconsin Ian Johnson, Boise St. C.J. Gable, USC Joe McKnight, USC He's Baylor's QB.
September 20, 200818 yr I think the two best backs in the country RIGHT now, are Joe McKnight and Javon Ringer...
September 20, 200818 yr Javon Ringer is the best back in the country at this point! He had a leading 9 TD's coming into the game against Notre Dame and finished with 39 carries 204 yards with 2 TD's. Enough said, he is the best back right now!
September 21, 200818 yr No love for LSU's Charlie Scott? Another good one... In 3 games, he's just averaging 15 rushing attempts per game but he's averaging 131 yards rushing per game. Edited September 21, 200818 yr by ScarHeel
September 21, 200818 yr I liked what I saw form Scott in '08, and now he's the frontman in Baton Rouge. Ringer is also a nice back.
September 21, 200818 yr No love for LSU's Charlie Scott? IMO this is the best back in the country. You gotta love the way he hits it between the tackles.
September 22, 200818 yr My top 5... 1. Javon Ringer 2. Moreno 3. Beanie Wells 4. Jahvid Best 5. Evan Royster My exact Top 3...In that order
