September 15, 200818 yr 1. SEC officials are just horrid. Doesn't matter if it's Kentucky or somebody else, they will blow many calls all season long. The horse collar non-call is unbelievable. Don't expect officiating in the SEC to get any better. There is only 1 good crew in the league. 2. Micah Johnson was absolutely amazing. I really hope his injury isn't that severe 3. Hartline with experience and more savvy will learn to manage the play and game clock more effectively. The 2nd down of the last offensive drive with 1:18 to go was not a good moment for his game management. 4. Lones Sieber needs to count his lucky stars he is not kicking for a team like Alabama or Auburn. If he were there, he would need 24/7 protection from authorities...but at any rate....please make a kick or stop kicking. 5. Ryan Tydlacka is pinning 'em deep 6. Tim Masthay kills the ball. He is a weapone and although I've said before, I worry about his timing of getting punts off...he clearly has gotten quicker and more efficient...he is a brute kicker...in some ways reminds me of Glenn Pakulak...wouldn't want to mess with that punter. 7. Derrick Locke didn't run wide all night...Alphonso ran hard....Dixon gets ankle tackled 8. MTSU held more than Florida offensive lines. 9. Gee was fast. 10. Kentucky has the best and worst fans in football. Once again, WHY COME TO THE GAME AND WASTE YOUR DAY...if you leave at 6:57 in the 4th quarter of a tight game??????? Unreal. Social-wanna be's. 11. Don't ask Kyrus Lanxter to run any route across middle of field. 12. Dicky is tough. 13. Thank you Robbie McAtee. 14. Kentucky's band is still the worst. Blew out by MTSU's blowers....UK band is flat out horrible.

September 16, 200818 yr There so many observations I didn't even read them all but some are alright but some are easily arguable.
September 17, 200818 yr Do WHAT???? :sssh: :sssh: :sssh:  Surely this doesn't really surprise you ...
September 17, 200818 yr Surely this doesn't really surprise you ... But this only happens at PJCS...At least that's the idea around here...
September 17, 200818 yr The fans leave Papa John's because the home team is losing. Thats the difference.
September 17, 200818 yr But this only happens at PJCS...At least that's the idea around here... No the idea around here is that EVERYONE in red leaves PJCS when it is the 4th Quarter and the Cardinals aren't playing well. UK fans definately should not make any lists of "The best fans in college football", but at least they aren't seen looking like Moses and the Exodus when their team is down 2 TD's in the 4th.:sssh:
September 17, 200818 yr ^ Instead they leave when they are in a nailbiter in the 4th? That argument is pretty weak. For what its worth, I find it deplorable for both to leave, regardless of situation. We have season tix to the Cards, and my tail is in my seat until 0:00 hits the scoreboard.

The fans who leave a close game to "beat traffic", "pack up their tailgate", "get home early" are deplorable and it is shameful. But the difference is the numbers that leave. There is a huge difference of 2,000 people leaving the UK game like last weekend, and 15,000 people leaving the UL game (ex: Syracuse, UK, etc). Especially when there are 60K fans at Commonwelath and around 40K at PJCS.

Because until a couple of years ago, the fourth quarter tailgating in the Commonwealth parking lot was almost as robust as the pre-game tailgating. Seems a couple of decent years has made UK fans forget they are a traditional SEC doormat, notorious for emptying out the stadium in the second half against Georgia, LSU, UF, etc.

September 17, 200818 yr I have been to SEVERAL UK football games when 15,000 people left before the game was over...You all dont want to go there... ...and the pictures from this year's UK/UL game, easily found in UK fans' signatures on toher sites, suggest that you don't want to go there either.

Seems a couple of decent years has made UL fans forget they are a traditional average mid-major team, notorious for having low attendance's in much smaller stadiums.
