At least the UK fans were at the game during those lean times, ti wasn't too long ago that UL tickets were easily available at any of your local Kroger's as a promo. Seems a couple of decent years has made UL fans forget they are a traditional average mid-major team, notorious for having low attendance's in much smaller stadiums.

 

It's more than just a couple years, but OK. I don't think anybody's trying to sell UofL football as a traditional powerhouse, though.

I have been to SEVERAL UK football games when 15,000 people left before the game was over...You all dont want to go there...

1. SEC officials are just horrid. Doesn't matter if it's Kentucky or somebody else, they will blow many calls all season long. The horse collar non-call is unbelievable. Don't expect officiating in the SEC to get any better. There is only 1 good crew in the league.

 

2. Micah Johnson was absolutely amazing. I really hope his injury isn't that severe

 

3. Hartline with experience and more savvy will learn to manage the play and game clock more effectively. The 2nd down of the last offensive drive with 1:18 to go was not a good moment for his game management.

 

4. Lones Sieber needs to count his lucky stars he is not kicking for a team like Alabama or Auburn. If he were there, he would need 24/7 protection from authorities...but at any rate....please make a kick or stop kicking.

 

5. Ryan Tydlacka is pinning 'em deep

 

6. Tim Masthay kills the ball. He is a weapone and although I've said before, I worry about his timing of getting punts off...he clearly has gotten quicker and more efficient...he is a brute kicker...in some ways reminds me of Glenn Pakulak...wouldn't want to mess with that punter.

 

7. Derrick Locke didn't run wide all night...Alphonso ran hard....Dixon gets ankle tackled

 

8. MTSU held more than Florida offensive lines.

 

9. Gee was fast.

 

10. Kentucky has the best and worst fans in football. Once again, WHY COME TO THE GAME AND WASTE YOUR DAY...if you leave at 6:57 in the 4th quarter of a tight game??????? Unreal. Social-wanna be's.

Same here.

Who cares whose fans leave early, or how much....I stay in my seat and look down at those that leave early, that's really it..

...and the pictures from this year's UK/UL game, easily found in UK fans' signatures on toher sites, suggest that you don't want to go there either.

You've used UK this year and Syracuse last year as a measuring stick. If you're trying to tell me that the crowd hasn't emptied at Commonwealth twice, EVER, I'm calling you a liar. I've been there AT LEAST four times in the past that it's happened.
