She cut travel expense from $463,ooo to $93,000 in one year and you find fault with that?

Cut from her replacement, Governor Frank Murkowski, another Republican, and yes, I do find fault with it when she's making taxpayers pay for her to stay at home.

Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama, ?????

Why I can't not vote Republican...

Maybe it's just the cost that sounds high to you, but travel in Alaska is a little bit more expensive than it is here in KY. I'm glad that it's her travel habits that bother you though and not her values or what she stands for.

Let me get this straight.

Palin slashes travel expenses 80%, from her predecessor's $463,000 in 2006 to her $93,000 in 2007. State officials permitted her the travel expenses because her "duty station" is Juneau, the capital, and she was in Wasilla 600 miles away. Palin put the state jet on sale on eBay, ultimately selling it to a walk up buyer, drives herself to work, is the poster girl for frugal use of tax dollars, and has an over 80% Job Approval Rating by the citizens she represents in Alaska (nearly 600% above the current rating for the democrat led U.S. Congress) and you are trying to use her as an example of an evil politician you can’t vote for?

Wow…

You don't have to agree with her positions and beliefs, you certainly don't have to vote for her, but the reason behind this post is just downright puzzling.

I don't know this for a fact but I'd be willing to bet that Obama spent more as Senator in Illinios than Palin as Governor in Alaska. If you are basing your political side on travel expenses, then I suggest not being political because I'd say everyone in politics has some scary travel expenses that they incur over a just a year, whether they keep a gov. car or fly in a plane, those costs are there.

Of all the Palin crap that I have read over the last two weeks, this is the biggest joke.

We don't want your vote.

This made me laugh out loud.

I have no problem with the travel expense, but she shouldn't have taken the per diem.

Of all the Palin crap that I have read over the last two weeks, this is the biggest joke.

If out of everything that is out there this is the one thing that put you over the edge, I'd have to say I agree with Trojans.

Rob from the people and take for herself. Love those values.
