Kentucky 38 Norfolk State 3

Cobb looked very good, and it's pathetic that Hartline was booed in only his 2nd collegiate start.

I would never boo a player, and I look down at it. But...

Hartline started the game and in his two series (maybe one), nothing happened with the offense at all.

On the next series, Cobb took over and scored a touchdown.

Cobb really sparked this team...

Hartline was booed after he came back in after Cobbs success.

Cobb was the better quarterback tonight.

This is what bothers me about some fans....I feel you should never boo your own players.

Cobb is way more fun and I think a better qb. The best part of the game was Norfolk States band. They are freaking ridiculous. Best band I have ever heard. I sat right beside them and couldnt concentrate on the game.

I personally was happy to see Hartline go out. Very ineffective for whatever reasons BUT booing your own player is bad enough even if he is a professional; this is a kid who probably has parents or some family at the game. I wish people would remember that.

I realize that, I watched the game, but it's still not a reason to boo Hartline. I honestly think they were booing the fact that Cobb wasn't reinserted to start the 2nd half, more than booing Hartline himself though.

IMO the fans were booing the coach's decision not Hartline...

That is stupid to boo a kid like that. By every account Ive heard he is a fine young man who is really working hard. Its looking like Cobb needs to be the QB, but its too early to tell. Hes gotta do it against a better team. He's young so he will make some mistakes. He had a fumble and an INT tonight.

How did they finish that year? Do you remember some of the defensive players from that team?

Who were some of the defensive players? Marc Higgs would have been on that team as well. Was that the year that they lost to Tennessee when UT stopped Higgs three times from the one yard line?

Chris Chenault and the Garnder brothers

Tony Massey

Jerry Reese

Hartline just seems really timid to be on the field and just looks plain scared to throw the ball.

He prefers to throw the ball east and west, rather than north and south.

I hope UK still gives him a chance because I think he can be really good, but after tonight Cobb seems to have claimed the QB position for the moment.

I don't think they are booing the player. The are booing the decision.

Anyway, I've been saying for months that Cobb should be the QB. Or at least should be in all the time. I stand by my thoughts after the game. He is awesome, he has better potential than Hartline and he is younger than Hartline. He runs better and he has a better arm.

Great game by the D. They allowed 20 yards of offense in the 2nd half and 0 completions. They should rank 1st in the nation in points allowed and other major categories after 2 games.

Agree!

Also, I think Hartline has the records for passes thrown away/ thrown out of bounds. When the pocket breaks down Cobb runs for 5 plus yards and Hartline doesn't even try to avoid a 290 pound DL, he just chucks it in the stands.
