Actually yes we are.

Growing up, I remember the Carter years as a time of financial hardships for my parents. About 2 years into the Reagan admin, my dad started doing really well. As I stated in another thread, the Clinton years were very lean for my family, the Bush years have been profitable. I see a pattern.

I could say the same for my family and the Democrat years. We struggled during Reagan and Bush, then started doing really well during the Clinton years. Bought our first house, got new cars, things were going really good. Since Bush dos has been in office things have gotten much worse.

 

I can't specifically say it was related to each President being in office, maybe that's just the ebb and flow of life. I don't know.

Oh yea, the military got 11% increase in salary. We didn't get aide back then. You had to buy your own baby formula, etc. No food stamps either. We made too much money and couldn't afford McDonalds.
