I take that as a "yes", juniors played. Either way, that's an impressive win for the Rocks. That group of Moeller sophmores pounded X last year.

There is no problem with T playing juniors because it helps their program. However, it is important for everyone to know they are playing juniors (and I assume Moe is not playing juniors) because the result may not necessarily be an accurate and true representation of future varsity results.

Louisville St.X and Cincy Moeller routinely don't play juniors. I'm sure there will be dozens of other Ky. teams that won't play juniors on JV...a lot of smaller schools don't have the numbers luxury of risking a junior getting hurt in a JV contest. That being said, there's nothing wrong with doing it...especially makes sense for backup QB's who need the game situation reps.

I think it is something that everyone needs to be reminded of if we want to compare apples to apples.

I bet there's more than 20. I think most schools play their freshman up, not their juniors down. Can any of the Birds, Breds, Cov Cath, Ryle fans comment on whether juniors routinely play jv?

X has played juniors before, and will again, there is nothing wrong with it.
