August 28, 200818 yr Where will he end up? http://und.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/082808aaa.html
August 28, 200818 yr At least he got to go on that trip to Ireland for 2 weeks... BTW, he's looking at Morehead State and UK and if he's worried about playing time (which he obviously is), he would be better off going to MSU.
August 28, 200818 yr My guess somewhere in the state, where do you think he lands? If he wants to play this season, than like you some in-state schools would be an option. If he's considering remaining in DI, then not sure. Hope Proffit finds the right fit and has an excellent career.
August 29, 200818 yr I would love to see him at UK. Who knows where he will end up. Wherever he ends up, a coach and team will not only being getting a solid smart player, but a GREAT kid.
August 29, 200818 yr Author UK anyone? He left Notre Dame due to lack of playing time.............surely he realizes that it would not get any better at UK. Hopefully he goes where he can play, maybe somewhere such as Morehead, Tenn Tech., etc.
August 29, 200818 yr Herald reporting he talked to UK yesterday http://www.kentucky.com/232/story/506740.html
August 29, 200818 yr Morehead...not sure if he can run with Georgetown That's funny. Happy has been trying to get Ty at G'town for YEARS and trust me when I tell you that if Ty wanted to go to G'town, Happy would welcome him with open arms.
August 29, 200818 yr "Proffitt, who received his release from Notre Dame on Wednesday, said that he visited at least one other school on Thursday. He did not want to name the school, although he was believed to be also considering Morehead State and Eastern Kentucky. He said he hoped to make a decision before the end of the Labor Day weekend." Big difference in UK and EKU/Morehead
