Went to Firehouse while on vacation in Fla. and thought it was really good. I haven't seen one in NKY. though.

For a chain, I like Quizno's.

 

But some of the best sandwiches I've ever had were from the Submarine House near the corner of Brown Street and Woodland Avenue in Dayton, Ohio.

 

Where in Dayton is that? I will try it next time I am there.

 

I used to eat a lot of Subway, just because it was convenient. A few weeks ago I ordered three trays for an event and they didn't have them ready when I got there to pick them up. The girl there said she knew nothing about them. I spoke to the owner when I ordered them. I was not happy. She didn't even want to get him on the phone to confirm that I had ordered them.

I probably won't eat there again.

 

You really can't beat the Quizno's five dollar specials..they're pretty good. I also like the veggie sub at Penn Station.

I picked Quizno's in a close one over Penn Station. :thumb:

I have to go with Sub Station II around here...unfortunately I have family all over the East Coast, nothing around here touches those sandwiches NOTHING.

 

Its unfortunate only because I know what I am missing....

Of the ones listed, I frequent Subway the most.

 

We have a really good local place called "Victor's" in Murray that rocks.

Penn Station is the best, hands down.

 

Always get me a Chicken Teriyaki, glass of lemonade and fries and I'm set for a great meal.

I eat Subway all of the time due to convenience and cost but it really isn't that great, especially when compared to all of the other places listed here.

Have you all had Jersey Mike's? I am a big Penn Station fan but to me it doesn't hold a light to Jersey Mike's. That is about as fresh as bread gets!

Quiznos great bread , not big, I am not a big bread eater. Subway is just 2 miles from the house so with the price we eat there some. I like to make my own.

I prefer Subway over Quizno's because of price. However, I have yet to try Penn Station since one opened up in Paducah. It may be a while before I'm able to try it since I'm back in Murray now.
