Our family's prayers and thoughts are with the family and friends of the young man.

Prayers and thoughts from our family. So sad to hear.

Horrible, I hope the family can make it through. Hopefully this sends a message to coaches who think players need to just work through the heat at any cost. Wow...

Tragic. Prayers go out to the family. So sad.

Such a terrible tragedy. Our family's prayers and thoughts are with the family and friends of the young man. Also our prayers go out to the coaches and teamates of this young man.

Perhaps KHSAA needs to review their heat-related index rules/guidelines and make them even more restrictive. Apparently, two kids from the same practice had to go to the hospital. It's just so gut-wrenchingly sad to hear stories like this.

Before the policy is reviewed, we need to see if it was followed at practice. From what has been said in the previous thread, it was not followed appropriately.

What tragic news! Thoughts and prayers to the family during this very difficult time.

What a terrible thing to happen. I am just sick. The thought of this young man losing his life in the sport I love more than anything else is just tragic. I feel so bad for his family and send them all of the prayers that I can.

WOW WOW WOW...Terrible terrible news. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, PRP, the community and the football team. Very tragic and just shows how dangerous the heat can be. God Bless this young mans soul and God Bless his family.
