August 25, 200818 yr Perhaps KHSAA needs to review their heat-related index rules/guidelines and make them even more restrictive. Apparently, two kids from the same practice had to go to the hospital. It's just so gut-wrenchingly sad to hear stories like this.

Before the policy is reviewed, we need to see if it was followed at practice. From what has been said in the previous thread, it was not followed appropriately.

August 25, 200818 yr What a terrible thing to happen. I am just sick. The thought of this young man losing his life in the sport I love more than anything else is just tragic. I feel so bad for his family and send them all of the prayers that I can.
