Maybe so, but then again, surely Russell can adjust to anything Greenup bring out on the field. Russell has GC covered in the talent department, they just have to put it to use. If you took the 10 best athletes on the field Friday night. 9 of them would be wearing Maroon/Gold. However, those 9 play both ways. So heat could be a major factor in this one.

This year's Russell Jr.'s wore Greenup's Jrs. out as Freshman. Unless Greenup has a lot of really good Sophmores or new players, I just don't see this happening. But good luck anyway.

 

Last year's Greenup Freshman wore out Russell's Freshman and this year's Greenup Seniors beat Russell as Freshman by just a couple of points. With all that being said it looks like a tie to me.:lol:

I think Russell will control the ball with long sustained drives. I'm a Greenup supporter and wish them the best but I just don't see it happening on week one. But who knows what might happen Elvis might show up at the game.

Should be a good game, I look for Russell to win by a TD or two. Greenup lost last year to Russell with a much better team then this year! They lost alot of key players. Look for the Greenup sophomores to step up and play big in this game. Russell-35 Greenup-28
