True, but GC's back's are more power runners this season. So the rain may not be bad for GC. Lyle and Berry are mudders.

B. Ive seen both Russell and GC play, and if Russell comes ready to play and to make a statement that this is not a down year like everyone has said. I think Russell should put it all over Greenup. Stranger things have happened. The last time GC beat Russell which was @ GC, Russell was way more talented that year, but came out flat, and lost quite a few players early to injury.

Heart will beat talent most of the time................remember Rocky? Don't count GC out until the game is played. I know Russell has talent and heart, but I have played in many games when my team wasn't the most talented and we came out on top. Forget the Rocky comment, think back to the 1990 Reds or last year's NY Giants. I think most agree the Patriots were way more talented. That's why the game is played. I am really tired of hearing why this is a blow out in the making due to Russell's superior talent. If they blow out GC, congrats....let it be played, though.

Let's not argue, but read f@n's comment above regarding the weather in reason B. There have been many comments throughout this thread about Russell scoring and winning by as much as they want. Again, maybe they can, but let's see what happens on the field and may the best team (Fri. night) win.

Russell is better coached.

 

However you can't argue Russell doesn't produce more all around talent than the area teams. Good coaching can only get you so far, and good talent only gets you so far. Together they get you what Russell has produced over the past 15 years.
