Anybody that seriously thought she was a candidate wasn't paying attention. I'd challenge any of her supporters to show that he strung her along.

In an interview tonight on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Joe Biden said that he asked John McCain to run as Kerry's running mate. Now I'm no fan of Kerry, but this is interesting. This came in the context of John Stewart asking Biden about his presidential prospects in 2008. Stewart asked him what he thinks about the possibility of running against McCain, and his response was along the lines of...

 

"McCain and I are good friends, I would love to run against him, I would also love to have him as my running mate."

 

What do you think? Could something as simple as having a two party ticket be enough to shake up the partisanship that is gripping our political system and bring back some simple common sense?

Putting a member of another party on either ticket would be political suicide - and that is how it should be. If a candidate cannot find a member of his own party worthy of being president, then he should be switching parties.

I would not be shocked to see Hillary on the ticket. In case anybody has forgotten, the Clintons are excellent liars and the leaks from her campaign about her not being vetted could be part of an elaborate ruse.

 

I remember when Bill Clinton's cabinet members and high ranking members of his staff swarmed the Sunday talk shows for months repeating the lies that Bill Clinton fed them. This would be an excellent way for the Clintons to pay Drudge back for breaking the Monica story.

I will be honest and admit that I am a Hillary Clinton supporter who is undecided betwixt voting for McCain and not voting at all. The second option disturbs me, as while I have voted Republican on occasion, I have never abstained from voting before.
