If Obama wants to win (IMO) I think he should pick Bayh.

Everyone is saying tonight that it is Biden.

Keane and Bayh have been told they are not the nominee.

Clinton was never even interviewed for the pick. That will come back to haunt him that he gave her no serious consideration.

It appears it's going to be Biden, by the way the media is dropping hints. I think it would be a shock if it's not.

I hope McCain chooses Romney. I believe he would be helpful to his chances. He's a good debater, and has a firm grasp on economical issues, which are crucial in this election.

Take out the Mormon issue and he is a good candidate for McCain.

The Mormon issue will be a BIG ISSUE.

The following may not be policitally correct, but I feel it is real.

One of the things that has been successful against Obama is the PERCEIVED grayness of his faith as a Christian.

You bring Romney onto the ticket and that does not carry as much weight as it once did because there is now questions on Romney's faith and how Christians will perceive it.

Romney's religion will not be a big issue. Few Republicans who are serious about electing a man who shares their values are going to vote for a candidate who supported infanticide simply because he claims to be a Christian. The religious right does not kill newborns and they will not support a man who refused to oppose such killing when he had the opportunity.

Romney will be a big asset to McCain if he is on the ticket, although I would still like to see Gov. Palin as the VP.

I agree on the Christian voting.

But they might not vote at all.

Remember Romney flopped on that issue.

Although he handled the question in the debate on his flop tremendously well. Very impressed with his answer on why he flopped and everyone knows my feeling on this issue.

Romney flopped and admitted doing so. Obama is still lying about his votes against BAIPA and is still the most pro-abortion candidate that the Democrats could have chosen. I find it difficult to believe that pro-life Christians will stay home because a Mormon is on the McCain ticket while possibly helping doom millions more innocent babies to death.

I would agree with you and hope it does not happen.

I fear it might.

And McCain cannot afford to have any of his voters stay home.

I think my fear is based on is Romney worth this gamble.

If he can deliver Michigan, he might be.

Romney would be a great choice for McCain. I still think he would be the best candidate for POTUS unless people have their heads up their rear ends on the Mormon issue.

Obama's #1 concern has to be Hillary's supporters that are still in play. They are not rolling over and following the party line. There's a lot of anger towards Obama.

And it will get worse as everyone comes to realize she was not even vetted for the spot and NEVER seriously considered.

Obama in effect slapped her right across the face, many of her supporters will think. DISRESPECT

It very well may have been what she deserved for BIllary's treatment of him in the primary but will not play well as her supporters decide to vote for him or not.

I would not be shocked to see Hillary on the ticket. In case anybody has forgotten, the Clintons are excellent liars and the leaks from her campaign about her not being vetted could be part of an elaborate ruse.

I remember when Bill Clinton's cabinet members and high ranking members of his staff swarmed the Sunday talk shows for months repeating the lies that Bill Clinton fed them. This would be an excellent way for the Clintons to pay Drudge back for breaking the Monica story.

I made the comment/question to my firmly Democrats and Clinton loving parents tonight.....Is winning the election enough for Obama compared to having to put up with Billary as the VP for the next 4 or 8 years?

In no way do I think she deserved the spot. I give Obama credit for not acting like it was a consideration.

Putting Hillary on the ticket might have kept the National Enquirer from giving Obama the kind of scrutiny that it gave John Edwards. The mainstream media is not informing the public about Obama's background, so there is a real business opportunity just waiting for somebody.
