Anyone know when Sweet Tea is going away?

I think its going away like end of August!

I ran a place as late as last May, the actual cost of goods of a 32 ounce soft drink (paper cup, lid, syrup, water and straw) was exactly 0.427 dollars per my last product cost spread sheet. A case of Coca-cola syrup rose 5 dollars about 10% in the last year.

A 5 gallon bag in the box of Coke syrup is over $60 (if you don't buy in bulk like McD's and Dairy Queen), and everything you get has went up as well as fuel charges. I order most of our food, beer, and paper products for a small bar and grill and every item we buy has gone up considerably in the last 2 years, much more than annual increase. Even our beer deliveries now have fuel charges. a keg deposit has went from $10 to $30.

When is congress going to step in and take the prophets of BIG BURGER.

If anything good can come of these bad financial times....maybe eating less fast food is one of them.

No need. There are thousands of cows wandering about just offshore and in Alaska.

My sentiments exactly...a week from today is when I start. Gotta get all my vices out now, lol.

I will miss the $1 Double Cheese. I probably won't visit McD's as much without it on the menu. I would always order two, with a $1 menu fry, scrap the bread on the 2nd one, and make myself a Quarter pounder.

^ That's what I used to do when I went to Wendy's with the Jr. Bacon's. I would scrap a piece of bread and have a double bacon cheeseburger.
