It is suprising he is doing so poorly because last summer he was the best USA player if I remember correctly. His game suits international ball. He is also forced to play the 4, which he is not accustomed to.

When the US is at the line he splits the double box out every time and is at the rim waiting for a miss. He's just not as good as Kobe, LBJ, and Wade. But he's really good.
August 15, 200818 yr It's clear now that the last 5 years of USA Basketball have been an aberration. When the USA intelligently picks a team and has all its players on the same page, no one can keep up. Some said the world had caught up, but I would just say they've closed the gap a little. Easy there. They aren't going to win every game by 20. It could still cause problems that they aren't a good outside shooting team and they aren't shooting well from the line.

He's just not as good as Kobe, LBJ, and Wade. But he's really good. What I have basically concluded is that these three guys are the real difference makers of the NBA. We can make cases for other players, but these guys can simply do it all. Kobe and Wade are far more complete in their games, but LBJ is so much bigger than everyone else, he just cannot be stopped. I have never seen a physcial freak like Lebron. Pierce was even commenting on it this morning on Mike and Mike how physical Lebron is.
