The "save-oop" to Kobe was NASTY.

It's clear now that the last 5 years of USA Basketball have been an aberration. When the USA intelligently picks a team and has all its players on the same page, no one can keep up. Some said the world had caught up, but I would just say they've closed the gap a little.

Their biggest test is going to come against Spain on Saturday. This is a game that worries me!

I believ that one of the biggest reasons they are playing much better this year than the past couple is because of the attitude that they have been bringing to the games. They aren't acting like they are bigger than the Olympics like they have in the past. They just seem to have a much better attitude in all their interviews and it's nice seeing them show up at volleyball games, swimming events, and the women's games too.

:thumb:I completely agree. Even with the "rock star" status they've been given by the Chinese, they are still not acting like they are bigger than the USA jerseys they are wearing. I'm pleasantly surprised by their attitudes.

I am too, it's a nice change from most of these NBA players. I believe that I am mostly impressed with Kobe Bryant. He kinda lost my respect over the past couple years, but the way he has handled himself over in Bejing, he has definitely won some back.

The Men's team is definitely playing basketball the way it should be played right now...as a Team.

Perhaps they all realize that the best athlete in the world hasn't been on the court,,,,he's been in the pool!

Okay someone told me it got nasty at the end, and Lebron is suspended, and Kobe and

Redd are hurt. Is this true or are they just yanking my chain? I can't find anything on it, and did not watch the game.
