August 6, 200818 yr They better not trade a #1 for him. No way is he worth that.In fact, if they trade a #2, for him, and don't at least make the NFC Championship game, Allen and Gruden need to take their act some place else.
August 6, 200818 yr They better not trade a #1 for him. No way is he worth that. Not sure if they will, but they can make it a contingency trade. For example, say Favre starts 17+ games for the Bucs, they would then trade for their first round selection. If he gets injured and starts 6 games and the Bucs fail to make the playoffs, they give up a 3rd round pick. Just throwing these out as examples.
August 6, 200818 yr I would make the deal based on how far he takes them if I'm the Bucs. They have the leverage in this one.
August 6, 200818 yr I would make the deal based on how far he takes them if I'm the Bucs. They have the leverage in this one.Not really, the Jets are still bidding, as of an hour ago, (and reportedly offering a #1), Brett could still return to retirement, or the Packers could just let him ride the pine. Where is the leverage?
August 6, 200818 yr I hope Farve is traded and goes to the Super Bowl beating the Packers on the way there.
