Russell may have the best tackle in the area. Dillon is good or better than Bonner at TE, 6'5" 280. The rest of the line is solid. Only question mark is the LT position,there are a few guys battling for that spot.

 

Russell returns all their DB's from last year, and have some good ones as back ups. They should be greatly improved in this area.

Anyone giving any thought about Henry County this year? Made the regional finals last year against P.T. and return virtually everybody? Very impressive in their first scrimmage.

I see them in the 9-12 range of the class. Very respectable number but the program just is not at the level yet to compete with your Belfry's, Central's, Russell's, and Breathitt's of the world.

 

That program is definately on the right track and the administration and community have came together.

All this talk about Central who only squeaked by Paducah because the coach wouldn't pass. I think this year they will be new and improved with new coach Randy Wyatt.

:thumb: I believe they will still be good, thye have a tough schedule that will get them ready for the playoffs.

I'm glad your predictions on Mason Co having a down year were wrong! :thumb: Looks to me like Mason has surprised most of the posters on here, though there have been a few that saw the potential early on.

 

The win at Russell last night was huge. Many have argued Russell is down this year, but no one seems to see that Mason is 'up'! The Royals are a better team this year than last and that isn't saying the players that graduated last year weren't good, but the team as a whole has stepped it up thisyear and are playing like a possible state-bound team.
