I'm a Reds fan,so if I have to pick between the Yanks and RSox,I go with the Yanks just because they won more.

I'm an Indians fan and am for whoever is playing the Yankees. I'm always for the Sox when there playing the Yankees and Fenway Park is probably my favorite ballpark.

Yankee's. You can't cheer against Derek Jeter.

I can. He is over hyped and over rated. Hit for average, but not power. Plays good defense, but if Brandon Phillips made the plays he did, he would get a top 5 web gem, Jeter gets a whole 10 minutes on how great of a play it was and how great of a player he is.

Bo Sox!

That's one of the most ludicrous baseball statements I've ever heard..Now I dislike the Yankees as much as anyone else but to say that Jeter is overrated is laughable...He is the face of baesball, gives 100% every game, and plays just about every game and never complains..He's a true definition of what it means to be a Yankee and he'll retire a great player.

For his career:

2470 hits

.315 BA

982 RBI's

270 SB /72 CS

97.5% fielding

There has only been one season in which he played less than 145 games. In that season he played 111...

He may not be the star he was, but he played leadoff forever and he is even better in the postseason. IN NO WAY IS HE OVER RATED! And this is coming from a fan of baseball!

Actually he's only batted leadoff in 448 of 1935 games or a little less than 3 seasons and his batting average is .309 in the Postseason vs. .315 in the Regular Season but otherwise you're dead on--he's not overrated and he's a great ambassador for the game.

He is a GREAT player, and is a first ballot hall of famer, but since he is on the Yankees, he gets more publicity. I know he is a great leader, and has great postseasons, but he is overrated NOW. He used to be one of the best in the game, but this year he has sort of struggled at the plate and he still starts the All Star game. Nothing against him, he is a great player, and I probably used the wrong word in "overrated" but way over hyped is accurate imo.

And sometimes he is the only player ON the Yankees I can remotely stand.

He but since he is on the Yankees, he gets more publicity.

Very true. If he played for a average team he would not be looked at the way he is. He is a great leader and teammate and very good hitter. His defense is not great. He does make some great plays but he is an average SS on defense.

I know I'm in the very small minority, but I like both. Very distantly behind my Cubbies though.

Neither. I don't like the amount of bandwagon fans each team has.

Will the Rays finish the season in 1st place in their division?
