July 30, 200818 yr I vote girl it seems this year everyone is having a girl, last year everyone was having boys so goes my theory.

July 30, 200818 yr It's actually been a lot of fun not knowing. Just seeing peoples reactions like yours has been worth it and we're driving our families crazy b/c they think we know and we really have no idea. Alot of the nurses/doctors have guessed boy too. Makes me think its a girl even more. :lol: I just couldn't imagine doing everything neutral. I wanted to get that nursury done in pinks and pastels, or dark reds and blues with a sports theme. I didn't want people to question the sex of the baby. However, you can put your girl in all pink, and you'll still get people saying what a beautiful boy. :irked: Sounds like I should change my vote to boy. Congrats again though. I got the hint a while back in another thread that your wife was pregnant. Get ready for your life to change.

The furniture is all cherry. And we can now accent in blues or pinks and it will look good. The one good thing is we got all of our big things since no one could buy us clothes, lol. We havea few outfits for both and an outfit for a boy and an outfit for a girl packed away to bring him/her home in. But we got lots of gift cards so my wife can go on a shopping spree for clothes after its born. :thumb: YeahI hinted at it a few months ago in saying this would be my last year for softball, haha, I'm ready for the change. I am ready to go now, want to meet my baby!

Depending on how tall you are, be carefull with the furniture. We have an antique cherry set for our little girl. With my height, my belt buckle rubbed the edge of the dresser/changing table and crib rail. I never realized this until over time when it started wearing away the finish. If you plan on ditching the furniture when your kid gets into the toddler stage, then don't worry about. However, if it converts as they get older, or if you plan to use it for #2, then you might want to think about it. We're still going to use the set whenever #2 comes around, but I wish I would've known about this beforehand.
