You can do all the research you want on Vietnam, The Great Depression, etc. But you'll never fully understand what it was like to live through those periods of history as does someone who actually experienced it firsthand. Experience means a lot in my opinion. Take a law student. They can study around the clock about all facets of the law. But I'd beat that they learn more about what it is to be a lawyer during their first actual trial then all the years of law school combined.

Yes President Clinton did what you claimed he did below National Surplus-Clinton Balanced Budget-Clinton but he did it by reducing our Military so very severely and not backing our service men and women.

July 26, 200818 yr People in all administrations will always have favorites at certain net works. Is true in Bush's admin and was true in the admins before his. I have zero doubt that some people will work with their favorites and provide the favorites with news tips. Should they? Probably not I guess as it breeds mistrust of the admin by the networks that don't have the favorites. Then again, should people like Scott be able to profit by writing tell all books and stabbing his former employer in the back? If he is accusing those in the admin that leak info to Fox as being dishonorable or of the sort, methinks he hasn't walked past a mirror in a while. I'm not sure at this point I'd put a lot of stock in what Scott says. Gooch, I'd like for you to start another thread about 9/11 and give a full disclosure of what you found that supports your theory that the Bush admin was either involved in or had prior knowledge that 9/11 was going to happen. Please provide detailed sources for your findings. And remember I said Bush admin. Not what some intel agency or officer knew but failed to disclose to the admin. And don't just give one side since you said you "talked" to people on both sides (which for what its worth, I'd be really, really surprised if you were able to talk to anyone high enough in the admin or intel agencies that actually had real knowledge of what the Bush admin knew about 9/11, but site your sources; you may surprise me). For example if one intel officer told a senior admin person about something, but another intel officer told the senior admin person to the contrary, please mention such in your thread.

Clinton imo also basically let all of these countries run all over the U.S.:irked:. Then again, you cannot expect man that has never been in or even respected our military to do anything else. I don't honestly don't know who all in all the races I will be voting "for" but I am 100% positive that I will be voting "against" Obama. That man and a lot the ones that he surrounds himself with (Oprah, the "wacko rev", etc..) that are backing him are flat out dangerous. Actually, considering this past weeks meetings that Obama has had I would think that he woulld make France or Iran a very good president, he ideas fit and are welcome more there than they are is in most of this country :walk:
