Pretty simple...as the Olympics are approaching I just thought I would ask what type of fan you are...

I love the Olympics. I'll watch it all, but my favorite events are women's gymnastics and beach volleyball.

I like to mix it up and watch a little of everything. I don't really have a favorite event.

I don't really watch, but I won't turn away if it's on during either USA competing, or one of UKPat's faves. :lol:

I try to watch just about everything, but my favorite in the summer is swimming, especially when we have a dominate swimmer like Michael Phelps back in 04'. Maybe he will have a solid performance as well.

 

And I agree UKPat...I think every since 96', I love to watch Women's Gymnastics.

I love to watch just about everything. I love athletic competitions. I guess it's because I'm a raging klutz myself. I'm in awe of people who can compete and win without seriously maiming themselves or others. :lol:

 

My favorites are gymnastics, men's and women's, swimming, diving and track and field events.

I have stayed up to watch the USA in events. LOVE IT !!!

Nope, not in the least. It could go away and I'd never notice.

If it ain't table tennis, I ain't watching.

 

 

I'll watch at least one game/match from every sport that I can. I try to watch as little basketball as I can because I'm not really a fan of basketball once it gets past the high school/small college level but oh well.

 

I hate the fact that softball is being eliminated as an Olympic sport yet a few years ago they were thinking of adding ballroom dancing. When and if that ever happens, I'll be like swamprat and never watch it again.

Track and field, swimming and diving, gymnastics, boxing and wrestling are my favorites.

I was a huge fan of the olympics when McDonalds had their game where your ticket had the name of an event and if we medaled in that event you got free food. Now that was worth cheering for.

For the most part, I really enjoy the olympics and love it when the USA wins an event. I must add that I will not watch gymnastics this year or figure skating in 2 years. Boring.
