June 6, 200818 yr I think Obama might be wise in selecting one of the midwestern governors who supported Hillary. I can't remember who they all were, but a possible list might include Strickland of Ohio or Rendell of Pennsylvania. The only reasoning behind this would be to give him an edge in states that he didn't do so well in. But I'm no political strategist, so I'll leave the tough decisions to higher-ups!

June 6, 200818 yr Putting Sam Nunn on his ticket would improve the chances of Obama getting my vote by 100% - but 100% or zero is still zero. Democrats have moved way too far to the left for Nunn to ever be on a Democratic ticket. He is probably more conservative that McCain - assuming than he has not taken a hard left turn himself after retiring from the US Senate. I agree with your thoughts about Sam. Great man. I've had the opportunity to meet him when he was in the Senate. I'd really, really be surprised if he'd run with Obama.

There are too many crazies in the Clinton camp that want her in, and I'm not saying Billary would support it, and would do something like that.
