June 2, 200818 yr Author See! I'm not the one with the squirrel issues -- RTS is the one! However, we have been incaded by a pair of squatter-robins, who are insistant on building a nest on the wood over our front door. Every time we knock the stuff off, they come right back with more twigs, mud and miscellaneous trash. Of course, they spread the stuff all over the front porch during the construction process. RTS, why don't you tell them what happened when you tried putting out traps the last time. :lol: Poor bird. :devil:

I even saw her once take on a ground hog...and won, even though I was yelling at her to stop. The yard was her domain and NOTHING was getting in...well, out, alive. I miss that ol' dog. :cry:
June 2, 200818 yr Squirrels have declared war on me and they must be eradicated from my property. They’ve cost me too much money digging up plants and flowers, biting the flowers off and leaving only stems. I just planted a nice area of Portulaca yesterday and ALL of them were dug up and torn apart. :madman: I’m tired of being a nice guy about it; however, if anyone can come up with a humane way of dealing with the little demon spawn, I’ll give it a whirl. Otherwise, it’s the pellet gun and rat traps for them all! :fire: :fight: Ha-ha... My grandpa declared war on them 2 years ago and has shot about 200 + from his porch! It is funny to hear someone else do the same... Good Luck with that RTS

June 3, 200818 yr My 9y.o. is for hire. He has laid the smackdown on many a squack. He keeps his air rifle loaded for just such an occasion. He'll require pay for his venture however. He usually requires G2 gatorade and some sort of snack cake to tie him over. He doesn't miss however, he shoots everyday.

I miss that ol' dog. :cry: Squirles have never been a problem with my dog. She sees, and kills. I have literally seen her jump in the air and grab a bird that was in flight and kill it.

We had three ducks in the backyard a couple of days ago, she walks out and just gives them a quick glance and then starts sniffing around as if no big deal. This is my "killer" dog.
