May 30, 200818 yr Upon learning of the passing of the great Harvey Korman, I got to thinking about some of the great comedy duos in the history of television or cinema. Korman and Tim Conway, who made their mark on the Carol Burnett Show, were as funny as funny can be. Who would you rank as some of TV's greatest comedy tandems? You may include duos from the silver screen as well, though I am most interested in television tandems. May 30, 200818 yr Abbott & Costello by far for me. :thumb:The "Who's on 1st" routine is a classic and maybe the greatest piece of comedy ever between 2 people. I'm amazed everytime I hear it.
May 30, 200818 yr Norm Peterson (George Wendt) and Cliff Clavin (John Ratzenberger) from Cheers were my favorites. I also liked Hawkeye Pierce (Alan Alda) and B.J. Hunnicut (Mike Farrell) from M*A*S*H.
