Steve Spurrier (South Carolina) 5. Nick Saban (Alabama) 6. Mark Richt (Georgia) 7. Tommy Tuberville (Auburn) 8. Bob Stoops (Oklahoma) 9. Frank Beamer (Virginia Tech) 10. Bobby Petrino (Arkansas) I would probably have Petrino higher on the list had he stayed at U of L and continued his success. As it is, I'll wait and see how he does this time around at Arkansas. Rich Rodriguez is another guy I thought about putting on there, but I want to see how he does at Michigan. Greg Schiano is another, but I want to see more continued success at Rutgers before ranking him that high.

May 28, 200818 yr I took the list as being the top 10 coaches now. In other words if you could pick your top 10 to build a program with today who would it be. How many of you would honestly take Joe Pa or Bobby B to build your program with today? I think the same goes for Fulmer. He has enjoyed success over his career but has struggled lately.

I do have to agree with you if you are speaking of today and building for the future these are by far the best starting point. But if you are talking all time greatest Coaches the list is completely different. Maybe 3 or 4 of these guys would even grace that list anyway. Carroll, Tressell, Meyer and Miles:thumb:
