Second guess would be a brass statue of Coach Larkey to grace the entrance?

I enjoy the excitement and the circus like atmosphere surrounding the new Harlan County High school. If the kids play the game with the same excitement as the fans cheer with then you will win some games.... now a state title might take another year or two....lol... I used to date a couple or three young ladies up there and they were all very fine folks....I loved everyone of them to death. I might have to make the long curvy trip up 119 to catch a Black Bear football game. Maybe HDE will let me sit with him in the plush pressbox that he surely has reserved for him on Friday nights.

How has pre season practice been going? Who will be the starters and their positions? Realistically how many games do you see the Black Bears winning this season?

I think Friday night and Saturday will be good practice for the tailgate parties we have been discussing! Should be an awesome time, I'm anxious to see how much support we really do have!

 

Ken Moody donated a wooden bear just like the one in front of the steakhouse it should be on display Saturday, although it will seem small compared to what Mama Bear has planned!

I don't have any on the team Bubba. All mine are just little cubs. I don't think that anybody's postion is in stone right now, except maybe Blanton at QB. It will all be decided when they put the pads on. There ain't a whole heck of alot to talk about other than how fast or how strong they are. It must be so frustrating for the coaching staff who is trying to decide who to put where on this new team when you can only do so much with a helment on. When do they hit?!

I hope you're right HDE! He's gotta a lot of hard work ahead of him. All of mine love football! I hope they can all stay healthy and keep focused.

I think it would be great if Bears fans filled up the home team parking lot and made them fill out of place. We need to get there early and show our support! They said once the parking lot fills up you have to park up on a hill and walk down, I say we make the Cougar fans do the walking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
