We have a crew going to Letcher for the first game. We have been talking about a tailgate party before the game. I think that would be great, to have some fans present before the team got to the game. That would be a great way to pump them up. I have seen other schools do this before games. Why can't the Bears fans get a tradition started.:thumb:

A guy mentioned to me that we need a huge flag flying in the middle of our tailgate party. I think they are still working on an official logo though. But the HC that will be on the Helmets would do. A big cardinal flag with a white HC or a white flag with HC in cardinal. I don't think the players realize how much Harlan County is behind them. I agree that would be a great way to pump them up especially the first game if they pulled in to the parking lot and saw all these Bears fans already there. The best I can remember the way you go into LCC they wouldn't see us until they get into the parking lot. Maybe the boosters can plan something and make some money.

They started at 4:00PM. How many came out today? Anybody that was a surprise? Anybody not show up that was supposed to? Somebody tell us something!

I was told today that the Bears have around 80 or 85 kids.

There could be a big announcement concerning the schools in Harlan Co in the next weeks, if things go well it might be one of the best things to happen for football in a very long time. It also might just send a message that things are changing for the better in our neck of the woods. I can't get into specifics for it may cause something to go wrong and that would be terrible.
