Paul Pierce will cost the Celtics

Featured Replies

It speaks volumes that he had to "save" the Celtics in a 2nd round playoff series against the Cleveland LeBron James', a team with one player.

As bad as I want them to, this team will not win a NBA title.................

But, the point of this thread is, "Paul Pierce will cost the Celtics, mark it down."

No matter what he does from now on, it won't change the fact that the Celtics wouldn't have advanced past Cleveland without his monster game 7 performance.

The Celtics won't beat Detroit because they aren't good enough...it won't have anything to do with Paul Pierce.

IMO Ray Allen is hurting the team more than anything right now. Paul Pierce has been nothing short of superb throughout the playoffs. Ray Allen hasn't show his face yet and has yet to play to his ability which is the reason the Celts even faced two game 7's.

Paul Pierce will cost the Celtics? I don't think so. People on here are too quick to jump the gun.

^ Remember that this thread wasn't made yesterday or even the day before that. He made the prediction before the playoffs started. Wasn't really jumping the gun.

I know when the thread was made and that's why I said people were too quick to jump the gun but thanks for trying to point out when the thread was started for me though.

Glad I could help!:D

It was just as ridiculous to say it then as it would be now...

Plus, I'm pretty sure the playoffs were going on May 5. In fact, I think we're into year 3 of the 2008 NBA playoffs.

The Celtics not being able to win on the road is what's going to cost them, not Paul Pierce.

No he won't....We're going to see a Celtic/Hornets Finals, and Chris Paul is going to show everyone why he should have won the MVP. Mark it down! :D

If anything, so far he has saved them in these playoffs.

I'm plucking a crow to prepare it for the oven. If things continue as they are going, someone is going to have to eat that crow :lol::lol:

Yep.....I'm looking like a idiot with every C's win

Haha...it's alright. At least you are able to admit when you are wrong.

I'm enjoying this thread, just goes to show that Pierce is very important to this C's team.

I am surprised this hasn't got much play on here but Paul Pierce and his gang sign giving, head band throwing, getting a technical at the worst time will cost the Celts a title. Somewhere sometime in these playoffs.

You would expect more from a vetern captian!

Paul Pierce's shooting and his air tight defense helped shut down Kobe Bryant in the 2nd half.
