No he won't....We're going to see a Celtic/Hornets Finals, and Chris Paul is going to show everyone why he should have won the MVP. Mark it down! :D

Only two that I know of. It was when they advanced to the conference finals against the Lakers in '04.

That's what I thought. So the people saying he's more of a winner than Pierce are wrong.

I don't see the problem. I always flashed my gang sign at Bell County in high school and it was never an issue. Neither was my headband.

Kevin Garnett - This is his ninth playoff appearance. In Minnesota, they lost 7 consecutive years in the first round, before advancing to the conference finals in 2004 before losing to the Lakers 4-2. Career playoff record, 21-33.

Ray Allen - 5th playoff appearance. In Milwaukee, lost in first round twice before making it to the eastern conference finals in 2001, losing to Philadelphia in 7 games. Made one playoff appearance in Seattle, losing to the Spurs in the second round, 4-2. Career playoff record, 22-22.

Paul Pierce - 5th playoff appearance. Had early success, making it to the conference finals in his first playoff appearance in 2002, losing to New Jersey, 4-2. Followed that up, by getting swept by New Jersey in the second round in 2003. Didn't make it out of round one after that. Career playoff record, 20-24.

Did you guys even watch the series?

He cost them Game 6.

He is solid one-on-one and can create his own shot, problem is he takes a lot of wild leaners too.

Did they win that series? I can't seem to remember...:D

Pierce was 7 of 12 with 17 points, 6 assists, 2 turnovers and he fouled out...

Maybe if Ray Allen had given them more than 1 of 8 from long distance...

Or, if Rondo (4-14) and Cassell (2-8) could have shot better than 6 for 22 combined...

Paul Pierce didn't cost the Celtics anything. The fact is, Boston allowed a far inferior team to beat them 3 times on the road, when they should have lost once, at the most. The average score of the games in Boston was 102-77...the closest game was 19 points, 96-77, in game 2. It took a team effort for Boston to collapse on the road...it wasn't just Paul Pierce.

I am surprised this hasn't got much play on here but Paul Pierce and his gang sign giving, head band throwing, getting a technical at the worst time will cost the Celts a title. Somewhere sometime in these playoffs.

Good job on that call, looks like yesterday he saved the Celtics! :thumb:

He won the game for the Celts game 7 against the Cavs.

That's what I just said..

It speaks volumes that he had to "save" the Celtics in a 2nd round playoff series against the Cleveland LeBron James', a team with one player.

As bad as I want them to, this team will not win a NBA title.................

I can't believe the fact that KG has played his entire career in the Western Conference hasn't been mentioned yet, especially since you guys are arguing about who took there team farther.

KG led an always outmanned team to the playoffs in the WEST year in and year out. Nothing Pierce has done in the East matches that.
