The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics, in conjunction with its shoe and apparel partner, adidas, unveiled its new football uniforms at its annual spring game, Bearcat Bowl II. The new uniforms, which include exclusive color schemes and numerals, are the result of two month of consultation with adidas, the football coaching staff, and the department of athletics.

 

 

 

"These new uniforms are eye-catching and will give the Bearcats a distinctive look that no one else in the country will have," said head coach Brian Kelly. The players who have seen the uniforms are excited to debut them when we take the field for our opener in August. We appreciate the hard work put in by adidas to turn these uniforms around. They are a true partner to the University of Cincinnati."

Other than the claw marks on the pants they didn't look too progressively new in person...

I kinda like them. From the highlights I just saw from the spring game, it didn't look like there was any red in the black jersey's tonight. Maybe I just didn't really pay attention, but I did notice that they were different.

Gotcha. The black jersey's did look like the white one's in the pic above though. Again, it was a quick highlight, so don't really remember the specifics of them.

Agreed. I really like how this went in year 1 of the Adidas deal for football. Hopefully we see the white on black combo get the majority of road reps...

I like the white ones. In general, I've never been a huge fan of different colored tops and bottoms like the red on black in the pic. UC usually has some pretty sweet uni's though.

Has anyone heard any news on Mauk coming back? I heard from a pretty connected source that it was a "done deal" that he WILL return. Anyoine else hear anything?
