May 2, 200818 yr Author I was thinking #3 From my UC Marketing source... As far as the jersey numbers, adidas didn't decide which ones to sell in the stores. UC provided them with seven numbers (21, 9, 95, 85, 45, 20, and 16 with emphasis on the first four. The numbers that go on sale are selected by the retailers, so DuBois and Follett requested 85 first. I know Follett also ordered #21, but they were scheduled for the second delivery (which came in yesterday). The replica jersey initially received by vendors is the style area retailers are going with based on their platform of products. adidas has four styles of jerseys they produce (Chaser, Replica, Premium and Authentic) and the replica style is what the retailers ordered (probably based on the price point). The minimum production quantities adidas has is 360, so unless our retail partners can commit to enough orders for the premium jerseys (which will be printed tackle twill and look just like our on-field jerseys) the style we received is what will be produced. The price point for the replicas is $55 and the premium jerseys are about $75, so this is a decision the retailers are making based on our fan base and sales history.
May 19, 200818 yr I just got an email from UC letting me know they will be for sale mid July, and my season tickets got moved up to the first row in the endzone!!
