Former UM lineman Boren transfers to OSU

The sophomore offensive lineman left the Michigan program last month, saying its "family values have eroded" under new coach Rich Rodriguez.

I guess people in Michigan need to decide what's important to them. "Family Values" or beating Ohio State. Lloyd Carr apparantly had one of them, and they forced him out because of it.

I know somebody that is going to have a rough game or two in a couple of seasons.

Pretty surprised, without him, OSU will have one of the top lines in the country in 09-10

As an OSU fan I think this is good for the Bucks, but UM needs to get their act together. They wanted Carr gone and Rodriguez was the best guy for the job at the time. What more do they want?

If Boren is dedicated to becoming the best lineman in the game it could be a great pick up for the Bucks.

I don't think any fair judgments can be passed on UM for at least after RR has had 2 full seasons.

Then RR is in perfect health. He certainly has that down to an art.

As another has stated earlier, Ohio State should already be loaded on the line without Boren in 09'. Hopefully if he is serious about playing and doing what it takes and not just trying to get back at RR then Boren will provide quality depth on the line at the least.

My mistake/brain fart on my earlier quote (post #10) on this post, I read it wrong and thought that you had put "Whining" instead of winning. :lol:

 

The "Whining" was what I was meaning that RR had down to an art.

The "Better Guys-Buckeyes" :ylsuper:got the QB they needed for the future just a while back.......RR's 1st loss (Pryor) of imo will be many to Tressel.
