Edmonson is better than either of the NKY kids who made it.

 

The Northern Kentucky kids must have done something right to get selected. They are two of Kentucky's best. Congrats. I'm sure Edmonson is a good player but he must not have impressed those that he needed to impress.

Congrats to Corey Sorrell, you folks downstate that havent seen him play will be pleasantly impressed. He is tall, shoots well, handles the ball like a true guard and has dropped 40+ a couple times in his career. He will definitely be brought in to provide some offense.

I agree, I thought Sorrell had one of the top outings on the Ky team.

He is surprisingly strong and can score, handles the ball well in transition

good choice for the team

I have no problem with Moses on the team ... he's well deserving.

 

But are all the guards chosen better than Edmondson?

You can go to the Indianapolis Star at http://www.indystar.com and get the roster from their Prep sports section. They have a 6'11" or 7 footer that averaged 33ppg and is headed to North Carolina. They have two 6'8" players and a 6'7" player. A 6'5" inch kid going to Michigan who averaged 27ppg. Three of their players going to Butler, two to IUPUI, one to Ball State, and two to Indiana.

Indiana has mostly had the better players the last few years and therefore ended up winning most of the games. UK has missed out on a few of their top players the last few years including Zeller this year.
