Congratulations to Corey Sorrell, Covington Holy Cross, for making the team. I am sure that he surprised some people by making the team, but the kid is a good ball player.

I was surprised to see Moorman from Owensboro left off. Other than that I was iffy on Kimberland and Edmonson.

I'm really surprised that Edmondson was left off the team. Frankly, I think he's better than some of the players that made it over him.

I heard he did not have a very good tryout at all. I also heard Slone didn't have that good of a tryout either.

It's good to see Harlan Co. and the 13th region represented. Congrats!!!

:thumb: I would like to see Mr. Johnson get some looks. This may open up some college coaches eyes. I think he has mid-major college talent.

I've never seen Sorrell play, so I can't comment on his suitability for the team. But I have a hard time with the idea that there are 12 better players in the state than Edmondson, who has several Division I offers.

 

Then again, University Heights guys don't always seem to get much due in these kinds of things ...

I think Henderson belongs on the team and I like Henderson. However, Edmonson was better when I saw him IMO.

Congrats to Corey Sorrell, you folks downstate that havent seen him play will be pleasantly impressed. He is tall, shoots well, handles the ball like a true guard and has dropped 40+ a couple times in his career. He will definitely be brought in to provide some offense.

I will vouch for Sorrell. Great kid and great family. Most fundamental player I've seen and plays with heart. I'm proud to have him repping Kentucky in this year's game.
