There is no doubt Scott Co. is already rich in talent. But, like the old addage, "The rich get richer..."

I never said that they WILL win back to back state championships; but with the talent they have (and still may be getting) then the CHANCE is for sure there.

Have all these kids been at Scott County from day one? I don't know if they have or not, but if so, then some of them have to be getting upset that top notch players keep transferring to their school.

Agreed, It was bad enough with parent issues when only one player was coming over, like I said in earlier post, it could get interesting in the county!

They are making cut back! And tranfering people to other offices in other states! No smoke no Fire! Euton never said closing down in Ashland. Only said he was being tranfered to another state!

Do you think the place (Georgetown)and the program(Scott Co.) is the only reason for the move? Then why buy? When you can rent for two years! They are in Georgetown to stay!

I never said basketball was the sole purpose of the move. I was stating that it had to be a factor. He does seem to have the most legitimate reason, though.

There is no doubt Georgetown is a nice place to live, especially if you can get a job at Toyota. A friend of my family works there and he has it made. It's close to Lexington and Louisville, and not far from Cincy.

 

Add the chance to win a state championship on top of that, it is good for both parties. I can't say that I blame these guys for going, but it is suspicious, and I am curious to see if the KHSAA looks into it.
