I have to turn the channel when it comes on the news. This kind of thing makes me very mad and very paranoid.

There is no excuse for this kind of behavior and I hoep the criminals are punished to the FULLEST extent of the law.

The main chick who kept going at her is gonna do some time for sure. The other girl that hit her will get some time, and the camera person will get some time. The others will who sat on the couch will get a harsh slap on the hand.

I think it was just more then beating her up.

Lured, held against her will, beat really bad, has lost vision or partial vision, will have to be home schooled due to the injuries suffered physically and mentally.

They beat her at the door, beat down on the sofa...

People do real time for assualt all the time.

 

But they don't do life and they're not 16. I agree that it was terrible and that some of them should do time, but life? No.

I am sickened by the video and think that those girls deserve the maximum punishment by law. Those girls lured the girl and basically kidnapped her, beat her and severely damaged her psyche. Slap felonies on their records, make them do 3-5 yrs and then see how easy it is to lead a fullfilling life with that on your record and the entire world viewing you as a mean sadistic person. Those parents deserve all the bad publicity they are getting as well.

You must not have much dealing with courts. These kids could all end up with slaps on the wrists. Happens thousands of times everyday in courts across the country.

Did anybody happen to see the interview where one of the mothers of the attackers shifted the blame to the victim and said she shouldn't have been saying such hurtful things on myspace without being able to back it up? No wonder her daughter acted the way she did.
