April 11, 200818 yr I'm not a real country music fan but I would say that I like Toby Keith. I will say this, I have noticed that country music is more up beat than it ever has been. IMO -- and remember just my opinion -- I use to think of country music as a bunch of drunks setting on a porch attempting to sing. Sorry, that's how I use to think of it.

April 11, 200818 yr I don't know what it is about this guy (Phil Vassar), but I love his music. I got to see him in Cincy a few years back at the Taste of Cincinnati. I got to see Eric Church last year, and I enjoy his stuff too. I'm waiting for him to come back around. Turns out my wife knows a good friend of Vassar's and has promised that if he ever comes to town, he will set us up with front row seats and backstage passes. I believe his new album is due out in a week or two. Vassar actually wrote Tim McGraw's #1 hit, "My Next Thirty Years" and Jo Dee Messina's #1 hit, "Bye Bye."
