April 12, 200818 yr Who do you get rid of? Freel is an obvious choice, but who else? Hopper can be invaluable late in a game as a pinch runner or pinch hitter. He is also a 4th outfielder when you give someone a day off. Keppinger stays. I don't like E-5, but he has shown from time to time he can hit. Gonzalez deserves a spot when he comes back. It's a nice problem to have, but there is only so much room on the roster. The starting rotation and bullpen have looked great. The only person that is getting screwed here might be Bruce, but with Griffey gone after this year, he will get a job handed to him more than likely.

April 12, 200818 yr This will be Bronsons' break out game. Lets hope so. I'm still sickened by last night's debacle. Shutout by the Pirates, yikes.
April 12, 200818 yr The reds may never score a run again. I'm sure the Cubs will be happy to let the Reds score a run or two, as long as the Reds are willing to lose all 3 games. :thumb:
April 12, 200818 yr Hal Mccoy just said that Dusty pulled him aside while in Milwaukee and told Hal that if Bruce keeps doing what he is doing, he will be up fairly soon. He didn't know who would go, but that Bruce would be called up. The interesting side note is that Hal didn't ask about Bruce, Dusty just heard that Hal keeps calling for Bruce to be called up. So Dusty took it upon himself to tell Hal what's going on. :ylsuper:
